Knock Knock Give A Sock

The organization tries to raise awareness about the homeless problem in major cities and help them by providing them with fresh socks to keep them warm!
Give A Sock offers everyone the opportunity to host a “Meet Your Neighbors Dinner.” These dinner programs foster community engagement; effectively turning the transaction of simply donating socks into an interaction that furthers the aim of breaking stigmas while breaking bread.

Juilliard School

Knights of Columbus

The Yale Club

The Yale Club of New York City is a private club in Midtown Manhattan. Its membership is restricted almost entirely to alumni and faculty of Yale University. Dominican Academy

Established in 1897, Dominican Academy is named for its founders, the Dominican Sisters.  It is a Catholic college preparatory school for girls and is located in the Upper East Side of Manhattan. Dominican Academy is committed to the Dominican pillars of prayer, study, community, and ministry. The school celebrates mass monthly, and each class has a yearly retreat. Community of Sant'Egidio

A Catholic association dedicated to social service, founded in 1968 under the leadership of Andrea Riccardi. The group grew and in 1973 was given a home at the former Carmelite monastery and church of Sant'Egidio in Rome, Italy. In 1986 it received recognition from the Roman Curia of the Holy See as an international association of the faithful.

Among its efforts includes offering material help to the poor and the needy.  The Society also has thrift stores which sell donated goods at a low price and raise money for the poor. There are a great variety of outreach programs sponsored by the local conferences and councils, addressing local needs for social services.

NY Italian Women

New York Italian Women was born as a private group on Facebook. It is not a political movement, nor is it a religious congregation nor does it want to promote the diffusion of Italian culture abroad. The purpose of the group is instead to encourage networking, working collaborations and the birth of new friendships among the participants.
